A steak at the Tavern, then home to start watching the game. Drink of choice a Gin (Sapphire) & Tonic with some munchies. A glass of champagne after the game to celebrate a VICTORY.

Was at the Tavern this summer with my boys. They did a really nice job on the remodeling. The bartender was awesome.

Also, I always throw in a dozen hotdogs from the Country Store in Pennsdale. Now known only as Economy Locker. And, no, they're not nearly as good as they used to be. However, they're a sh&t ton better than anything in North Carolina.

Back in the day when were weren't at the Bowl Game we put on the large feedbag for friends and neighbors. Ranging from Fille Minon, Prime Rib, Lobster Tail, Yellow Fin Tuna, we've done it all through the years. But now it's just the two of us. Kids grandchildren and great grandchildren all do their own thing now and Wifey and I keep it simple. I did buy some Asti Spumante for after the game. Prior to the game we will be having Greek Salad, a small (smallest I could find) Prime Rib w/Augu, Golden Browned Baby Potato's and Asparagus and my favorite wine blend Barefoot Sweet Red.

New Years Day family will be in, Thanksgiving Christmas and New Years day meals are always at our house, the one family tradition the all seem set on keeping. New Years Day meal will be the traditional center cut (white) pork roast w/hotdogs and sauerkraut (all in the same pot) along with mashed potatoes, homemade T-Buns, also, my homemade cranberry sauce left over and frozen from Thanksgiving.

My homemade Shrimp Dip is definitely on the menu. Bacon wrapped water chestnuts, crockpot Italian meatballs. Kraut and roast.

All kinds of good stuff here

A couple of months ago Mrs A made new years dinner reservations with friends at our club. So I assume beef or fish, then home as soon as possible. We’ll take the end of the year single malt at home.
