What time should we be there?Ribs on the smoker and deep-fried chicken in the propane back porch deep fryer. Red wine.
6pm, as far as you know. What time should we be there?
Pork and homemade sauerkraut, with some Hoppin John and mashed potatoes.
Was at the Tavern this summer with my boys. They did a really nice job on the remodeling. The bartender was awesome.A steak at the Tavern, then home to start watching the game. Drink of choice a Gin (Sapphire) & Tonic with some munchies. A glass of champagne after the game to celebrate a VICTORY.
Great idea, and I have fresh collards and a ham hock! You just need some collard greens to go with the Hoppin John and you've covered 2 different regional New Years food traditions.
Back in the day when were weren't at the Bowl Game we put on the large feedbag for friends and neighbors. Ranging from Fille Minon, Prime Rib, Lobster Tail, Yellow Fin Tuna, we've done it all through the years. But now it's just the two of us. Kids grandchildren and great grandchildren all do their own thing now and Wifey and I keep it simple. I did buy some Asti Spumante for after the game. Prior to the game we will be having Greek Salad, a small (smallest I could find) Prime Rib w/Augu, Golden Browned Baby Potato's and Asparagus and my favorite wine blend Barefoot Sweet Red.For everyone that is not making the trip to Glendale, What's on your menu (food and drink) for the game on NYE?
