Locker room images from last year, were there added improvements since then?

As far as I know, nothing’s changed with the locker room since those renovations, and the locker room is still at (or close) to state of the art compared to our competitors. Same with the weight room (though it’s a bit small) and the entryways and common spaces. The parts that have been renovated are very nice, and Franklin strategically prioritized the first renovations (weight room, locker room) to maximize the on-field impact they create.

There are other parts of the Lasch Building, like the players lounge at the back of the building and the coaches suites on the second floor, that haven’t really been altered too much since the building opened almost 20 years ago. With the players lounge especially, it’s certainly something that puts us behind some of the programs we’re directly competing against for recruits in Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, Georgia, etc.

I’d be curious to see whether there’s a plan to modify the space currently used for the study area into additional space for the players lounge, considering they’re right next to each other in Lasch. The big new academic support center is right next door in the old ice pavilion, so it might be redundant to keep the much smaller, less equipped study area in Lasch.

If Sandy would just put in solid gold bidets..... you could bank on 12-0 seasons from here on out.
Silver ones will only get you to 11-1...… porcelain will probably set you up for 8-4.

Maybe if they put a Barber Shop into the locker room - it would guarantee a National Championship:

Maybe not

SMFH.

Our locker room already has a barber shop. There’s a barber who comes up from Harrisburg once a week or so to give guys haircuts.

Not surprised. Didn't they add/enhance nutrition bars a few years ago? I was in the players lounge about 10 years ago and it seemed first class to me. Leather recliners, big screen TVs, X-Box, etc. It all seems excessive to me but I guess that's what it takes to lure the best prospects.

They did add the nutrition bar and I believe enhanced the sports medicine facilities just off the weight room when Franklin got here - most of the renovations to the weight room itself were done under O’Brien and Fitzgerald. I’m sure Galt has tweaked some things, but probably not too many considering Fitzgerald is a Galt protege.

And, as far as I can tell, the players lounge is probably about the same now as it was 10 years ago. Keep in mind that back then the xboxes were necessary for the guys to learn the playbook!

The nutrition bar addition was in conjunction with the new NCAA rule for snacks and meals.
