Yes congrats. I know we goof on him a lot but I would bet if we ran into him and shared some conversation we would walk away glad we did. Seems like a good dude from what I have read/seen.
So would I. The stories and wrestling knowledge would be incredible to hear. Unfortunately the night would come to an abrupt end when I ask Tom to perform the hamster dance.

In a day and age when someone or anyone is quick to throw another under the bus, I think these two would have your back. They seem like real stand-up guys.
Flew back from the National on the same flight with Brands when he was at VT. It was a small plane and he was holding court right behind me. It was very entertaining and interesting listening to him talk wrestling, philosophy, what's right and wrong with the sport. etc. He is definitely an asset to our sport even though I prefer Cael's approach on the mat.

Congrats to Tom Brands. Milestones like this are an inevitable part of longevity and success. Doubt it's a big deal to him, as it's not "the prize".
Does that mean he didn't throw Terry to celebrate.
Did the conversation include: 'I'm heading to Iowa, who's with me?'
Or "wanna know how to really kill a program"?
