They all know the penalty...think the year suspension is fair if he was actually betting on NFL games (ie Calvin Ridley).I think it’s ridiculous taking a man’s livelihood away from him Something less severe would be smarter.
Follow the rules--we all have to do that at our jobs to keep them, right?I think it’s ridiculous taking a man’s livelihood away from him Something less severe would be smarter.
Yep. Pretty straight forward. Just a dumb, dumb move on all of their parts.Follow the rules--we all have to do that at our jobs to keep them, right?
Why? The rule is simple. No gambling in the practice facility or NFL venue and no betting on NFL games. If he dumb enough to do either he deserves it. He was betting on NFL games it would be no different then me getting fired for insider trading.I think it’s ridiculous taking a man’s livelihood away from him Something less severe would be smarter.
Glad you started another post, 😂
I agree re betting on football and following the rules. 3 Dummies for sure. But given the sponsorships, tv ads and general acceptance of online betting how does the NFL ban a legal "right" in their "holy" facilities while taking money from those same companies? They all know the penalty...think the year suspension is fair if he was actually betting on NFL games (ie Calvin Ridley).
suspends players for gambling on other sports in their facilities, maybe on one of their sponsored sites, how does that make sense?
In the cases of Cephus, Moore and Toney, the league explicitly said those players bet on NFL games during the 2022 season. Those suspended for 6 games were betting in the facilities.Just looking for clarification because I've not read everything about it.
Were these player suspended for gambling on NFL games or for gambling on other sports leagues?
