Bo Nickal - Next Level….No One Survived Even a Round Against Him
Bummed. It was a weird case. He didn't look a world beater in his last fight, but he seemed to not get any fight looks. I didn't understand it.
Interesting… time has been flying by for me lately, but I couldn’t imagine he’d had four years already.
Yes, he's been here four years already, and has this year's eligibility because of COVID and perhaps another if he wrestled unattached in either of his first two years of competition (all he did was opens).
So, good chance he has graduated. Just a matter of whether and when he is moving on. It looks like his best chance to start is next year if he can hold off either Nagao or Davis moving up (or some 'unknown' frosh moving in).
Some of you may take it as a sign that he knows some not-to-be-named HS SR has committed to the good guys and he said, "well, sh*t, there goes my chance." JK
He's listed on the trackwrestling roster, but has yet to certify. A little over half our guys have certified so far.
UPDATE: He's listed in the student directory as an undergrad at University Park. Although there is a 2nd listing for a David M Evans with no status listed.

I didn't get a screen grab but perhaps it'll emerge somewhere--Bo Nickal was on the big screen tonight at MSG to help hype the UFC card during the Rangers Winnipeg Jets game, wearing a Rangers jersey. The on-screen graphic erroneously stated that it was Nickal's MSG debut.
He’s fighting Paul Craig not Paul Davis. I’m excited to see Bo wreck someone. Guy has really good bjj but no wrestling and barely any striking.
Wishing Bo the best. I'm not sure +1500 is a fair evaluation. Davis is a step up......a pretty big one. Davis beat (KO) Jamahal Hill..........who later became the UFC champ. Good Luck Bo

This is the fight. He knocks him out from a triangle after breaking his arm. No striking from his feet
At this level I guess everyone has some ability in all areas but bjj is absolutely his strength and striking is his weakest area. He actually pulls guard in mma fights just to get the fight to the ground
