I'm working from home. From the preview, they are going to talk about THON.
Franklin talked about what THON means to him, the football program, and Penn State. He talked about the importance of service at Penn State.

They also talked a bit about last season and the 2017 season. Of course, Franklin expressed disappointment in the Rose Bowl loss but mentioned the positives (b1g championship in his third year, just one senior on offense, young team). He said that he tells the players to stay true to who they are, a blue-collar, hard-working team. He tells them to stay hungry.
As usual, Franklin represented the school very well.

ESPN runs clips of successful USC plays over top of Franklin speaking? That bother you or nah? Maybe I'm too sensitive. Seems a little unusual.

Yeah, that's garbage. I mean, when watching the interview and they're sort of talking about how great the RB was, I would have been fine with good plays from both teams. But, they *only* showed good USC plays and the video at the end with their coach lifting the RB trophy into the air I thought was a bit much. But, not unexpected. They'll take their shots where they can get them.

They showed the football team's dance at THON and Franklin spoke at length on the program's stressing community service from the players. Very cool.
I had a doctor's appointment at 10:30 so I had a lazy morning. It wasn't until Judge posted the picture of Barkley channeling Hulk that I got off my ass and went to the gym. Once I get on the treadmill, Franklin's on the screen telling one and all about the program. I had a good morning.
