There was a time in Bowden's early years that he did not have all of the Talent as FSU did in its 90's or they were extremely young.
At one time FSU was only the third best team in Florida behind Miami and U of Fl.
Early on Bowden expanded the game plan game by game and when he came to his first major big league test he was ready.
This may be where CJF is right now but for the blip against Temple which was an under rated team at the time. Rightly so and Temple proved PSU wrong as they are doing to the rest of college football.
I believe that Hack will have his most effective game this Week. Why? We all can see it coming. Where was Hacks scrambling and running early on. Everything that came out in preseason was that Hack was quicker. Could get it done running when needed. He finally showed his stuff against Indiana. Now OSU must practice against this
Look at the pass game. Expanding it In last couple weeks. Sure Indiana was starting 3 Freshmen in the DBackfield. However OSU can be had. They talk about their front 7. Nothing similar is mentioned about their DBs. We can exploit it with our Downfield TEs and our very good wideouts
Our play action and Hacks running will enable them to be open AND if Hack plays like he is able to play and his first round bloodline shows itself, we will make plays
On D so long as our LBs have learned in the last 5 games and yes that is our weak link. Defensivel if we all stay in the lanes and get to cover blitz assignments,Jones will be in for a tough night.
I believe that if we protect the ball and limit penalties, we will win this game.
Why?
Franklin reminds me of game coach Bobby Bowden in many ways. The season has been set up the way Franklin would have wanted minus 1 blip and some longer than anticipated development of certain players.
Bowden is to his part of the country as Franklin is to the Mid Atlantic/NE.
