The jury remains out on Franklin. Whether older players believe he helped their development or ultimately thanked him when they leave for the NFL draft is really not important. A a passionate fan I only care about attracting great kids and winning games. Franklin has had a lot to overcome due to the sanctions the next three years will tell us if we hired the right coach. I am not sure about 2016, but in the near future we need a few signature wins and be able to compete for BIG 10 titles and the College Football Playoff.
I think we have the right coach and staff, all we need is a little more patience and time to get more talent for our Lions.
