Based on this depth chart of those recruited by the new staff, how many and at what spots do they fill the 2016 class with? There are 63 with probably another 8-10 spots left.

I thought Jarvis Miller was a safety? Is the word he will start at LB?

We have 72 kids eligible to return in 2016. That means we can offer 13 scholarships + 1 additional for each kid that doesn't return. 10 more scholarships would be 24 total, which means that 11 would have to leave early.

• 2 DTs Dioubate + 1 other (Beitku or Gary would be great but not probable)
  
• 2 LBs Ferns + 1 other
  
• 1 DE
• 1 K Nordin if we can get him
• 1 or 2 skill position players

That's 7-8 which I think is on the high side. Keep in mind that we have 53 kids eligible to return in 2017. If we take 22 in this class that leaves only 10 for 2017 (+1 for each kid that leaves early). I wouldn't be anxious to take many plan B kids because each kid this year means one less next year. There should be more available scholarships after 2017. Right now the scholarship roster is loaded with freshmen and sophomores and light on juniors and seniors.

You're counting Walker though. He was only given a scholarship for this year as far as I could tell.

Overall his recruiting has been top notch. I just hope when this talent is ready - in 2-3 years he can coach WITH talent
As of now the team is mostly not his, so any results will have an asterisk.

Follow up on Jarvis Miller LB or Safety??? recruited at 197 lbs.
MSU offered also and they like physical guys at Safety. (so does PSU) Anyone have some detailed insight on this??

Miller was recruited as, and will play, safety and not linebacker.
