The article in this morning's Minneapolis Star Tribune on Fleck's contract extension listed Big Ten salaries in addition to highest paid overall. Franklin's at 5.7 mil,11th in the country. Helton's getting 3.2 at USC. Sandy's not exactly giving him chump change. I sincerely doubt Franklin would leave for cash reasons. Sportswriters just love throwing names out there. He would need 10 mil to live the same lifestyle in southern Cal compared to SC.
