His newest client, a mega-rich Ukrainian politician, has fled the country and is now believed to be in Russia.
His report found that his client, who hired/paid him, should not be criminally charged. Shocking.
He probably doesn't remember it.
Like he "doesn't remember" almost killing drivers of three other cars by driving into their lanes - or even getting in the car to drive it.
Or didn't remember to file a report on it as required by law.
"Law enforcement" and the "justice system" taking care of their own:
"Under Vermont law, drivers involved in accidents with serious injuries, death or $3,000 damage or more must file an accident report within 72 hours of the crash. The DMV said it received Freeh's personal accident report on Monday, four weeks after the crash. Drivers failing to file the mandated state accident report are eligible for a $335 traffic ticket and a license suspension, according to Michael A. Smith, director of DMV operations. Vermont State Police, before the crash investigation was complete, said it did not plan to seek charges or issue any tickets to Freeh. Instead the plan is to issue him "a written warning for failure to maintain lanes of traffic," police said."
Repeated attempts to reach Freeh after the crash have been unsuccessful. Nobody has been answering the phone at his consulting business, Freeh Group International in Wilmington, Del. since the crash. The personal phone number listed on the state police accident report for Freeh and the phone number of Freeh's company in Delaware actually is for Arthur J. Gallagher Insurance in Illinois. Vermont State Police Lt. William Jenkins, the station commander at the Royalton barracks said later Thursday afternoon the wrong phone number may have been used in both places on the accident form by the investigating trooper. Trooper Harvey, the primary investigator, has not responded to emails and phone messages since the accident happened."
