What's it like, in PA?

In MN, we didn't hold our first tournament until April 1st. Our Junior State was just this last weekend (23/24). Our Kids/Cadet State is May 13/14. Northern Plains regional is the following weekend 19-21 (right near home WOO!). In between, there are opens. Most of them are turning into combo tournaments, where a wrestler wrestles a 4man RR in Greco, than flips and wrestles the same 3 matches in Freestyle. Some still do the Friday/Saturday Greco/Freestyle 2-parters. Even fewer just do the 1 day, Saturday Freestyle. MN/USA tries to make it so that there's one qualifier in the north and one in the south... Basically, whoever is closest to the metro area will get the most wrestlers. Once Northern Plains is over, all tournaments stop. We basically train, as clubs, until Fargo Camp in early July, then Fargo. Sure the Duals kids get their Duals matches, but otherwise, we'll have kids that go from the 3rd weekend in May until Fargo without real competition.

It's frustratingly-short. Youth Folkstyle is killing our FS/GR season. Very few kids will transition over before Folk Nationals, whether VA Beach, USA in Iowa, or Flo.

Anyways, what's it like in PA? Is the season longer? Shorter?
