FSU QB

Brutal. Now it falls in the hands of a RS Jr from Pittsburgh, JJ Cosantino, or a true freshman who came yesterday and looked as brittle as a pretzel. I guess it's the freshman otherwise why would Jim Bob burn his shirt on a meaningless series to close out the game. They will not win more than 8 games now.

It wasn't an ugly tackle or play, but he did go down hard on that stupid fake turf right onto his knee. Turf should be outlawed. Grass, or gtfo.

Justin Fields, Jimbo's on line 1 for you.

Don't buy into the ESPN hype machine. This Seminole team is not as potential without Dalvin Cook. They seemingly didn't have his replacement figured out yet, albeit Alabama is tough to determine your RB 1 against.

The offense looked good in the two minute drill, particularly throwing to the TE over the middle. Perhaps Jimbo believed his talent was as good or better than his former employer, but Nick out-schemed him at every turn (special teams blocks, zone coverage on the two late INTs). Francois has been a tackling dummy since last year's opener. Should have gotten him out of the game after the second pick.

You don't have turnovers they had vs Bama and win. It's a credit to their defense they held Bama to 24. Bama isn't offensively as potent as last year it seems. Line didn't open the gaping holes they usually did. Bo looks timid coming off the leg injury. Hurts focused on Ridley way too much. They just play so strong in the other facets, it may not matter.

Clemson should win the ACC. Miami isn't ready to truly compete and FSU likely can't win without him. The rest of that conference is bad

FSU's OLine didn't help him last year and there didn't seem to be much improvement last night. If Fields goes there-- good luck with that.

The play last night in real time made me shudder, my immediate reaction was that he was through for the year. Hate to see ANY player get hurt, a very sad part of an ever-increasingly violent game.
