What is the current market price for a monkey?

Apparently, about $2 million each.

PSU is paying $6 million for a President who is doing the work of three monkeys……hear no evil, see no evil, and speak no evil.

Eric Barron recently expressed consternation that "Nobody gets to see Penn State. They get to see Sandusky."

Gee, Eric, I wonder why?

Since July of 2012, You – and the BOT Scoundrels – have refused to stand up and refute the following:

- Penn State had a "culture in which a football program was held in higher esteem than the values of the institution, the values of the NCAA, the values of higher education, and disturbingly, the values of human decency…….that allowed Sandusky’s serial child sexual abuse”

- And that Penn State “disregard(ed) the safety and welfare of Sandusky’s child victims….Empowered Sandusky to attract potential victims….In order to avoid the consequences of bad publicity, concealed critical facts relating to Sandusky’s child abuse…granting (Sandusky) license to bring boys to campus facilities for grooming”

On the other hand, You, and those to whom you are beholden, have squandered $100,000,000s of Penn State’s resources in order to prevent the real truth from being revealed.

As Chairman Masser stated in his sworn deposition of November 2014:

- “My expectation was that Penn State's own internal investigation (Freeh Report)……would prevent the NCAA (and other organizations) from doing their investigation”…..”We were trying to keep them from doing their own investigation.”
and
- ”The Freeh Group investigation would hopefully prevent other organizations from doing their own investigations”.

Burying the truth under $100,000,000s….and under the corpse of Penn State’s reputation….is NOT an acceptable route to “moving on”.

Your whining, Eric, is disgusting.
Stop lying…stop complaining….or step aside.

I did not realize that Barron has been here the whole time and that is because he has not. I did not want Penn State investigated by the NCAA either, did you? The Freeh report was that of a prosecuter and not of an investigative nature. I have always believed that the motivation in hiring him was to give the appearance that Penn State was going to do all they could to get to the bottom of and find the reasons for the scandal. While this was happening in real time much that was done made sense in my opinion. Barron was not here for any of those decisions. Barron was hired to lead a world class University, not to be somebody's advocate or Champion. IMHO we all should be careful about throwing around accusations we can't prove because that is exactly what many are complaining people have done to Joe and the administrators.

Compete. Show me all the hard evidence of your accusations? It's easy to mock but hard to compete. He was not hired to do your bidding. I don't buy anything without evidence supporting an accusation. To think all this could have been avoided with one phone call in 2001. Where is the indignation at the administrators who left Penn State open to this scandal? Always blame for the folks that had to try to clean up the mess but not a peep about the guys that caused the mess. They dropped the ball.

LOL. Trying to teach a fish to climb a tree is generally not a worthwhile endeavor.

Clearly, today has become "circle-jerk" day on BWI.

Article about proposed raises for more monkeys:
Barron recommends salary increases for five execs, may get bonus himself

http://www.centredaily.com/2015/07/16/4838106_barron-recommends-salary-increases.html

"And then there is athletic director Sandy Barbour. The only one of the five who is newer to the campus than Barron himself, the announcement of her hiring was one of the new president’s first big moments. Her department has seen big news over the past year, not the least of which was the early repeal of NCAA sanctions imposed after Sandusky’s 2012 conviction. Those rollbacks saw the Nittany Lions return to postseason play at the Pinstripe Bowl in December. Her new salary will be $720,996."

And you led off. Did the administrators screw up in your opinion? I have no love for the BOT but show me the smoking gun that shows they conspired with Freeh to shape his report? Did MM go to the BOT with what he saw? Facts don't change for me if I like a guy or dislike a guy. You started it now bring something to the table besides your whining that the President of the University does not cow tail to what you think is important. Stand up and compete or stay silent and inconsequential.

Hey everybody wants a raise and thinks they deserve one. Just having to hear people bitch because you are not doing their bidding might be reason enough to deserve one.

Good one. I have been told that I look like Dinero by various women. No beef with you especially if you know that taxi driver.LOL. I just can't stand all of the whining coming from the OP.

You must be really below your quota of rhetoric for your masters......did they threaten to cut your stipend this week?
