Minny 7 pts off turnovers. Minny getting 2nd and 3rd shots. Announcers talking about lackluster effort. Not a good start.

Awesome basketball game. 28-26 PSU at half. You could combine the best players on both teams and still would stink

Defense improved and not as many turnovers over the last 7-8 minutes. Minnesota went cold (no FGs in last 9 minutes) allowing PSU to take a 2 pt lead.

Konan has 10 pts at half. Baldwin just 2 FTs. Team is 1-8 from 3.

Minnesota is helping PSU with poor shooting but the defense has something to do with that.

1) They can't match up with Konan.
2) PSU plays better w/o Kern.
3) Nice to see Carter getting lots of PT.
4) Hicks doing good job on Garcia.

11 pt lead with 3:53. Then TOs, missed FTs, quick shots, and ill advised fouls allowing Minny to score with no time off the clock.

11 pt lead down to 3 pts in just 2 minutes. Wow!

Minny had 10 FT attempts in the final 3:19. That's how you can blow a lead but PSU held on.

A lot of teams packed in there. We may only need to get to 6 wins to sneak into the BTT. Getting the 7th conf win would certainly seal it.

Konan was a beast amoung men today. What an upside to this young man. He will be a force to be recokoned with next year.

We only missed two free throws, and were 9-9 down the stretch. In fact all year long, in the last 4 minutes of games Penn State is shooting 85% from the free throw line. That is awesome on the year, but having two guys in Ace and Dunn who are both over 90% does help.

It was harder for Penn State to re-adjust to the officiating. I thought over all they were decent, but down the stretch it did seem they favored Minnesota.

WE are much healthier now than we were even a week ago. You could still see Ace playing hurt today, but Freddie Dilione was hurting, he is moving so much better, Konan was out for 2 or 3 games, and his first couple back he wasn't able to really move as well. This is the team we could have had barring the injuries.

I think we need to get to the Big Ten Tournament and get 1 or 2 games there to get to the NIT. Hoping they realize just how injured we were during that long losing streak. Things are in our hands now.

Seems playing better is due to Konan getting healthy, and Ace also playing better as he gets healthy, on both ends. Injuries seemed to derail the season. Ace was uncharacteristicly turning the ball over with his back issues but now seems to be nearly back in top form. When Ace is playing well and PSU protects the ball and limits the turnovers this team is competitive with talented teams in the B10.
