Interesting interview with Blake. Some things I found interesting:

1) He doesn't seem too upset about Phil leaving.
2) He says they always know before media does. Makes me wonder why any player would want to transfer elsewhere unless for playing time after graduation or family/personal circumstances. Seems Franklin handles issues the right way, which I doubt is always the case elsewhere.
3) Mentions Phil noticed some things Huff didn't.
4) He is now the defacto coach. Blake taking on a leadership role is great for the program as he helps younger players through the change.
5) Looking forward to the new hire. I am too.

Whatever media training players are getting, it is good as they always seem to be on message.

Blake Gillikin is going to be a 4th year starter at Punter this fall. Overall, Gillikin has been a solid punter for us. Does anyone know if Penn State is actively recruiting a potential scholarship punter to replace Gillikin for the 2020 season? Or is there a current player on the roster who could step into Gillikin's shoes in 2020?

I noticed this with SB.He seemed nervous early which is understandable ,but he used to rub his face on camera which shrinks/detectives will see as a sign of lying.Anyway, you don't notice as much "you know"after every statement from our players.

Another classic "tell" for liars is blinking so fast that the eyes are almost completely closed, or closing them altogether for part of a sentence. Watch an interview with Roger Stone some time.

In my 20s I had a boss who would cough before he lied. It became funny to me.
