I'm probably in the distinct minority who's actually glad that NCAAs are over and no, I'm not a Buckeye or a Hawk. Obviously I'm overjoyed at the phenomenal performance that each and every one of our guys and coaches gave, but also ready to give it a break. Because it's the best 3 days of the year for a wrestling fan and a PSU alum like myself, I was pretty worked up and unable to avoid the board to talk to other like-minded folks. That said, this time of year brings out the creepy crawlies every single season. We have to put up with the "oh boy, it's over, we're in trouble now" schtick every single year when a PSU wrestler gets beaten by someone who was seeded lower. We have to put up with the "Oh my God wrestler X, what were you thinking?" stuff every year and of course the worst, the "Wrestler Y stinks, see you later and don't let the door hit you in the arse" stuff.

Show a little class folks and I know that 97% of the posters here do, each and every day. Just hate to see that stuff every single year during the NCAA (and Big Ten) tournament, mostly from strangers who we never see all year, but occasionally from the regular piss-ants.

WE ARE......PENN STATE. So proud of our wrestling team and our coaching staff and so very much looking forward to next season.

You gotta just take it in stride man. These guys are a sign that we’re bringing in new fans. Opportunity to educate.

I'm sure that you're right and that's a good thing. I don't rant or pick fights while it's occurring, but last night it all boiled up. We're experiencing an absolute dynasty, some of the most exciting and dominant folkstyle wrestling yet seen and we're subject to moaning and complaining on our own fan board. ;)

There seems to be a powerful sense of dissatisfaction in many aspects of American life right now. Are you really surprised that we see some of it among sports fans, including Penn State fans? Lots of folks with a half-empty glass--which diminishes their chance to enjoy themselves. It's unfortunate.

agree, some of the discussion is like ..really again....and we break balls about it. But in all seriousness its good for this site, its good for our program and its good for the sport.

If we didnt have people using this site, we wouldnt get near the attention we get for articles, content, mod cleaning crews, etc....its all a result of the growth of new people checking in and playing a small part to grow the brand

Have you ever followed football or basketball in-game threads? I would say this board is somewhat mild by comparison.

Won't do it anymore, and yeah, I agree with you, doesn't mean I have to like it. ;)

Happy that we're champs again, but as a fan I'm always a bit sad when its over. I enjoy watching the tournament so much, especially our guys. Watching Jason and Bo get their third titles, and Anthony overcome near impossible odds to become the champ will be lifelong Penn State Sports memories for myself and probably for most of others on this board as well.
