Goldman economists said that if gas prices stay at current peaks, the UK will be forced to increase its energy cap by a further 80% in January, on top of an 80% increase already announced for October.

Just further evidence of the painful results of the horrendous globalist climate change policies embraced by Europe and United States leftists currently in power.

Sure does highlight the importance of being energy independent. I wish someone would tell Biden.

We won’t achieve energy independence unless we de-privatize energy production and stop paying open market rates. Only “price takers” pay open market rates - considering how much oil we produce, we should definitely not be price takers.
