Good international news (while PSU dominates national news)

Heard somewhere that the 2 day format benefits USA (might have been DT). Not sure how that is. Can someone please explain?

Obviously we have so much talent in this country that adding 2 weight classes not only gives 2 more of our guys a chance at obtaining their dreams but also gets us to send 2 more studs overseas to represent our talent pool. Pretty excited about this.

Will this apply to the Olympics too?

Maybe because USA wrestlers are used to multiple-day tournaments because of their folkstyle experience? That's the only thing I can think of.

It will not apply to the Olympics, at least at this point.

Is it me or is wrestling gaining in popularity? They tried to kill it not to long along ago! This is great with more kids and more competition.

Outstanding news for the USA with so much elite talent bubbling up. I would really like to see 125, 135, 145, 155, 165, 175, 185, 195, 215, 285 both internationally and in college. It should line up. USA can compete

Get ready to see a lot of Megaludis, Retherford, Nolf, Hall, Taylor, Brown, Nickal, McIntosh, Nevills and more on the way.

The NLWC is only going to get stronger.... Cael is recruiting the elite wrestler who is committed, invested, and simply loves wrestling because the finest platform for the international stage is in UP.

I've heard they are going to discuss and decide upon the 10 weight classes when countries meet at the World Championships in Paris this year. Official rankings will take effect in Jan., 2018.
Because they'll have to weigh in both days. That'll be a killer for the Russian Countries, that cut to the bone for a one-day weigh-in.
