I know it’s football season, but an American, raked 99th is giving number 1 Djokavich all he can handle.

Third set, Djokovic is wearing down the American. Brooksby simply lacks the firepower in his first serve to compete in a five set match against the #1 seed. Give the kid credit, but at this point he's facing the wrong end of a battle of attrition.

But Andy Roddick can fix his serve in 4 days LOL.

Did everyone notice that there are no lines people? They're using electronic line calling this year.

Go Radacanu!

She’s a great story too. Another reason why women’s tennis is so much more enjoyable than men’s…

I watched the Women’s Final and it was a tremendous match - future of women’s tennis is in great hands. Champion Emma Raducanu is going to be massive I think. Great game, model looks, and very gracious. Laylah Fernandez got a bit of bad luck when Raducanu got hurt (bloodied knee on a slide) and took an injury time out to get it bandaged just as Fernandez was about to play for break point. It took nearly five minutes to put a band aid on and you can tell it messed with Fernandez’s mindset. She argued a bit with an official about the length of the time out but to no avail - Radacanu bounced back and won on an ace.

Looks like a suitable replacement for the thrice deposed Phoebe Cates.

Two more teens playing for women's doubles title with gauff and McNally playing against stosur and Zhang. This is great for developing coco's net game.
