didn't see the match. here are the tweets from OSU during the match

2. 133: After a Gross escape, Brock is taken down with 30 seconds to go in the first, Brock trails 3-2 going into the second
3. 133: Brock will start the second down.
4. 133: Brock can't escape and Gross leads 3-2 heading to the third. Gross chooses down.
5. 133: Brock gets the takedown with a minute left, quickly releasing Gross. Brock trails , 5-4.
6. 133: Brock can't convert the takedown before time expires, and Gross will take the 6-4 decision.

Tough weekend for those that were still alive in the LMS contest. So far, Suriano, Kemerer, and Brock have fallen.

Thanks Tom. Just watched Kocer beat Crutchmer 7-2, as well.

didn't see that either ... sounds as though Kocer got a quick TD and 4 NF to open the match, and Crutchmer couldn't do anything in the 2nd or 3rd to change the dynamics of the match.

Crutchmer tried a mixer which completely back fired on him and was down 6-1 early

At 133, 149, 157, and 165 OSU can really help its chances at the NCAAs if Brock, Collica, Smith, and Rogers can land a 2-3 seed instead of a 4-5 seed to avoid facing NaTo, Zain, Nolf, IMar, respectively, before the finals.

Brock was in the driver's seat with the win over Clark but hurt his case today by putting Gross into the picture. He'll probably face Gross again in B12s. But the win over Clark probably puts Clark below him, however it shakes out between him and Gross.

Collica is probably safely ensconced in the 2-3 slot pending next week's dual where he'll see Mayes; they've met a lot and have multiple wins against each other.

A 2-3 slot probably isn't realistic for Smith at this point, with a 6-2 record, but a 6-7 seed is realistic and would put him on the bottom half.

Chandler Rodgers has two not-great losses--Clark Glass and Brandon Womack--and so 2-3 also seems unrealistic, especially given who's in front of him and how loaded this class is. But he's also pinned Daniel Lewis, whose only other loss is to IMar. He'll face Lewis again this week, and then probably #8 Dylan Cottrell again at B12s (he just beat him 6-4 this weekend).

Dual Championship could impact this too. Assuming a Penn State rematch, Collica and Smith can only help themselves with wins over Retherford and Nolf, however unlikely. Whatever Brock does to Carpenter won't matter. But Rodgers and Cenzo would likely have seeding implications, given that they're ranked closely. Cenzo's B1Gs will have greater implications than Rodgers' B12s.

I liked how Rotert finished it. They were in SV-1 and a stalemate was called with just 5 sec left. . . going to TB1. But off the whistle Rotert hit a blast double for the winning TD with 2 sec left. Very nice!

Cottrell lost to Mejias today. I'd think at this point in time they are the 2 and 3 seeds at Big 12s and there is a possibility Rogers doesn't see Cottrell in that tournament.

Honestly, I'm not sure if seeding matters much for 133. NaTo might be the one to avoid, but can the best case scenario path really include a national finalist as well? I'm not sure.
