Team scored the highest total of the year with a 415.290 which is the highest they had since 2017.

Impressive run.

How does the team championship work? Do we have a chance to it?

How many men's teams are actually in contention for the title? Who is the team favored to win? Didn't Michigan win the B1G?

I have no idea. Read through article hoping to see who else was in but it didn’t say. Don’t know if it is two teams or four.

Ok, looks like fifteen teams are in the finals. Four from the B2G.

Wow, this article says there are only 15 NCAA teams. Another more recent one said only 13 are left.

I knew numbers were way down but thought it was around 30.

The team ended up in sixth, methinks their highest in quite a few years but not sure…..anyone?

Stanford got it’s fourth consecutive title and it ninth overall, tying Oklahoma and Penn State for most team championships.

Mich was second. Two articles one from gopsusports that goes into great detail of each event and each team member but never mentioned the final team rank😡

Had to search for second link, a good video of highlights that ended with final standings.

Did you want them to highlight in the article that they finished in last place? There are only 15 teams who have the sport and 6 make it to the team finals. They made it to the finals in 2019 and finished last that year also.

Yes.

They are a news outlet meaning report the news.

They don’t have to ‘highlight’ that we ended up at sixth but it should be in the article. Pretty sad it wasn’t.

I watched it on-line. Penn State performed pretty well overall but Stanford was clearly the best team. They had the lower bleachers rolled back in Rec Hall but the upper stands were fairly full including a lot of fans from the competing schools. Just glad Michigan didn't win.

From clips I saw Rec Hall was pretty full, if not full. They rolled back the lower level because they had all events ongoing simultaneously. With six teams there they needed a lot of space.

I think that if they promoted it properly they could have used the BJC and come close to filling it, Being it was National Championship event it would have a good draw.

And being it was BW weekend a lot of people would have gone to Friday’s qualifying and on Sat attended the finals after BW was over. Just a short walk from the Beav.

If it was the women's champs they maybe could have filled the BJC but they are a much bigger draw. There are 62 Div 1 schools with NCAA women's gymnastics but only 11 on the men's side. Seems like it's just a matter of time before the men's sport disappears at the college level.

12 teams qualified. Two rotations. 6 in the early session and 6 in the evening session. Top 3 teams in each session advance.
Championship Round, Stanford scored an unbelievable 422 and change.
