I just re-watched the UCF game from Dublin last year and Hackenberg looked like a completely different QB from what we saw the rest of the year, and the reason was he had time to throw. UCF decided to only rush 3 or 4 guys for most of the game and Hack actually had time and he looked like an NFL QB. It wasn't until the Rutgers game when they brought pressure most of the game and everyone realized our pass protection struggled against the blitz.
He still forced some throws but that is to be expected of a true sophomore QB, but for those of you who question his talents (DON?) and blame him for the offensive struggles last season, go back and watch the UCF film and you will see what all the scouts see in him and why he will be a very high draft pick.
