I will say, some of these responses seem so hilariously preposterous as to lead me to question whether the researchers were faking the supposed data. But I do admire their "lemonade from lemons" approach, whereby if you can't actually get data to perform quantitative engineering research, you instead write an "experiential" research paper with wildly speculative conclusions and submit it to a queer studies journal.
Oh, and for the record, Jr. didn't get this survey, but informs me that if he had, he would have reported "Lockheed AC-130 Spectre/American"
