The new weight classes are setting up some massive battles.
Hall vs Dake
Zain vs Logan
DT vs Zahid
JB vs Ringer
Lee vs Gilman vs Fix
S***t is gonna go down!
Hall beating Dake will be a turning point in his progression. Cant imagine how he will do it but he will. Maybe he'll just let Kyle get old :)

DT and Cox certainly don't seem done yet, I wouldn't be surprised to see that again. I wouldn't shade Oliver from the Logan/Zain battles either.

Put me in the same corner on Hall/Dake. I have no basis for it, Dake probably is good enough to medal at a world championship, but Hall is so good in freestyle and has so many attacks he can put up. Plus the weight is going to be perfect for him going forward. I can't wait to see them wrestle.

Cox wants the Magic Man for sure, figured that sounded better than Magic Man wants Cox

I can't imagine what Taylor thinks when looking back on that 2nd period in match 3. What a farce that was and a shame for all of us that we couldn't see a real match when it was 3-2.

Nice to see the respect for JO. They were saying the cut for J'den was problematic 92kg could be more functional grudge matches not withstanding.

Yeah. For sure J'Den is moving up. The recovery of the cut is killing him.

Dake gave Burroughs as tough a match as anyone at worlds. And that was after going through the challenge tournament to get to Burroughs. He's going to be tough at 79kg. That will be a fun weight.

Cox himself said the cut affected him -- and that it likely played a part in his loss at Worlds.

Flash back to Cox as a frosh in high school projected to wrestle 285 in college and it's amazing he can still make 189.

I don't think Zahid is ready to handle DT at this point. Still could be entertaining.

Zahid is not ready for DT (a non-World team member) [I agree with this sentiment], but Hall is ready for Dake, who has beaten DT every time they've wrestled collegiately and beyond...

Since you put it that way.... no one is saying.... that Mark can beat....Da...ke nooooow....but....and Zahid does not want to deal with an extremely pissed off....DT...but Mark will have to... find a way....past ...Dake....sooner or....later ....and...I will always... put my money on..... the kid from Apple.....Valley.
Dake = 2000 and late
Mark = 2020 .....

Wrestled 170 as a freshmen and his senior year wrestled heavy only weighing around 210-215. Cox has never been close to 285.
