(On a personal note, after posting this, I will be spending a few weeks or longer completely away from the board. I have some business and personal goals that will require my undivided attention. I didn't anyone thinking I died, was banned, or hit the lottery. Hope to be back soon.)

As fairgambit would probably know, and others might, too -- Carl Betz (Dr. Alex Stone on the Donna Reed Show) was a Pittsburgh guy; Mt. Lebanon High grad and then on to Carnegie Tech.

My Mom (dearly departed) followed his career because she was a good pal with his sister; they worked together at Koppers downtown in the 1940's.
