Happy Birthday to Wendy Kilbourne who is 53 today.

It's not often that I get to wish Birthday Greetings to a fellow member of the bar, but today they go out to the prettiest Attorney in California, former actress Wendy Kilbourne. Among other roles, Wendy played Constance Hazard in the 1985/86 miniseries North and South. Her husband in that role was actor James Read, whom she married in real life in 1988. They are still married nearly 30 years later, a rarity in Hollywood, and have 2 children. She stopped working as an actress to attend law school and is now a licensed attorney in California. She is founder and CEO of The Children's Project of Santa Barbara, a residential charter school for foster children.

Our next greetings go out to a lady that Mr. Gambit has enjoyed on TV. She's been on quite a few TV movies, and made a number of guest appearances. She's most famous for her role on NYPD Blue, as well as her roles on Fired Up, Ladies Man, and The Line. The lovely Sharon Lawrence.

Mr. Gambit first noticed her on the big screen in The Lair of the White Worm, and went on to enjoy her performances in The Rainbow, "Liar, Liar," The Madness of King George, and The Calling. Ever partial to his field of work, Mr. Gambit was quite pleased with her work for 2 seasons on the TV show L.A. Law. The lovely Amanda Donohoe.

She's more known for her TV performances where she's made guest appearances since the '70s, and where she had starring roles in Thunder, The Family Tree, Dirty Dancing, Cover Me, Monk, The Office, Wedding Band, and Transparent. The lovely Melora Hardin.

Mr. Gambit first became aware of her as a member of the girl band The Pussycat Dolls. He's also enjoyed her on TV, and on the big screen in movies such as Chasing Papi, Love Don't Cost a Thing, Men in Black 3, and Moana. She was born Nicole Prescovia Elikolani Valiente but is known to fair and her fans as Nicole Scherzinger.
