Nope, and James is no longer recruiting well in case nobody has noticed? The program has become pathetic. Just pay James and get rid of him. Horrible decision to pay him more money and extend his contract. The new admin. needs to grow a pair and make the decision to get rid of him!

No team should ever look that unprepared after 2 weeks off to rest / recharge / learn every tidbit about their upcoming opponent. Franklin makes a habit out of wasting it away on recruiting. Recruiting brings in bodies but doesnt win games and he'll never get that message.
They also both won national championships. Franklin not even close to the same level as these two.
Wow. For most years, Franklin outplayed his recruiting rankings. That's a fact.
Don't be stupid. Neither have had to deal with what Franklin has. If not, show me where I'm wrong.
You can’t still be referring to sanctions? And I’m sorry, he’s got a history against ranked opponents. It is what it is bud. The guy couldn’t coach his way out of a wet paper bag.
Don’t be stupid yourself. I never said Franklin didn’t have sanctions to deal with, but he has wasted so much talent and is a horrible game manager. He might be able to recruit and he has had all of these great recruiting classes but it never translates to results on the field. I would take Fisher in a heartbeat over Franklin and I’m not a fan of Fisher either if that tells you something.
I agree. They got beat upfront on both sides. I have been a big Franklin supporter but this was a disaster. My biggest disappointment was with a bye week to prepare the play calling early in the game was way too passive and predictable. This wasn’t an intrasquad scrimmage. Defense holds Michigan to a FG and they come out and run 3 predictable plays and punt. Defense does it again and SOS on offense. Defense was on the field the whole first quarter and the offense had one 1st down. The only good thing they did the whole game was to play Allar in the 4th quarter and let him get the learning experience. Time to play Allar
