Last night the announcers stated that he didn't make the trip, but I'm not sure that's accurate being that I was listening to the Minny guys.

Feels like Jimmy was always bad on the 2nd half of a Friday-Sunday turnaround. Maybe I have the wrong impression based on only a couple of matches, but that's what I remember. Big test.

133- Carp vs Montoya - Montoya I think opens it up here. He's been wrestling really well lately. So, going with a major although maybe Carp can keep it close like he did with his rides.
141- JG vs McCrystal - Jimmy with a win similar to last night
149- Zain vs Purinton - Zain pin. Over/under 3 mins
157- Nolf vs Berger - Nolf pin. Over/under 5 mins
165- Joseph vs Williams - Joseph with a solid win. Williams is solid but Joseph is solider
174- Rasheed/Morelli vs Barnes - Expecting Rasheed here but idk. I think it will be close. Gotta go with the homer pick and take our guy in a decision. Could certainly go the other way.
184- Nickal vs Dudley - Will/should be a great match. I'm expecting Nickal to do something insane but I can't call a fall here, I respect Dudley way too much. Thinking Nickal by a Nickel
197- Cutch vs Studebaker - This will be great as well. Studebaker has been wrestling great. Was really impressed with his Midlands final, will not be outhorsed, was clearly undersized (by a good amount) and just went out and went to work. Calling a SV win. Again going with Cutch cause he's my dude
HWT- Nevills vs Jensen - Nevills with a comfortable decision

So I'm calling 33-4 but one of my homer picks will probably be wrong, so let's call it 30-7. Either way a comfortable victory over a tough opponent

Speaking of the Nebraska Dual, I was just looking at 141, and Jimmy can really help himself with a win in Lincoln. McCrystal is ranked (InterMat) just behind him at #13, while Thorn, whom he just beat, was 3 in front at #9. Martin (Wisconsin) is just behind him and Ashnault (Rutgers, next week!) is well in front. He faces both this year, after McCrystal. Point is, for seeding purposes at Big Ten's, these are critical bouts. A 2nd seed would be great, imo. While 141 is stacked nationally, it's mostly outside the Big Ten.

LOL, funny. Cruise liner changed his name again and somehow got banned from the RU wrestling board for 'inflammatory' posting. I enjoyed his posts however, a mix of Norm Crosby and Shane Sparks, lol.

Rutgers wrestled at home last night (beating Illinois) and it's been snowing pretty good in Norther NJ ever since about 9 this morning. Guessing the prop plane out of Newark not eager to take off.
