Hello Pittsburgh,PA.........

Times they are a changing. Tickets were at a premium in Cleveland, even crappy seats were going above face for most of the tournament. Couldn't find any reasonable all sessions so had to buy singles from the pro scalpers for the first day. Had to wait until right before start times to get them down to a reasonable price and it was not fun dealing with those guys, especially in arctic conditions. Fortunately, found a Buckeye fan the next day that got stuck when his buddy didn't show and sold me two club for face for the rest of the tournament. They were good seats but an expense I was trying to avoid.

I think having two of the largest college fan bases have success in wrestling is changing the supply/demand dynamic for nationals and Pittsburgh could be worse because it is located right in the heart of a high school wrestling hot bed. Cannot believe how many Penn State fans were in Cleveland, as many if not more than tOSU fans who were there in good numbers as well. Iowa and Cornell also had a big contingent. I am gong to try very hard to have tickets in hand prior to next year.

How? Already sold out!

Pittsburgh Paint Arena
This outfit has a few left if you're willing to pay a premium which includes some hospitality add ons. I'm not endorsing the site but it's an option to lock in some good seats. Or maybe it's a scam. You be the judge.

Agree completely. Every venue I've attended, there's been plenty of tickets outside the arena. Not so in Cleveland. It seemed there were far more buyers than sellers. Mentioned in a previous post that the dynamic felt different for this year's tournament, given the proximity to tOSU and PSU, and it appears that was the case.

Not to mention three local returning champs (Lee, Nolf and Joseph) as well as Pletcher, Carr, Kemerer, Shields, and Zavatsky.

I wonder if the ticket supply will be impacted if OSU isn't expected to challenge.

I'd be surprised if the tOSU demand is as high as this year, given the high expectations of the team in Cleveland. Still, they will reload, and will still be one of the top teams in Pittsburgh. That said, it won't impact Penn State fans ability to get fans through PSU's allotment from the NCAA...so many will still be looking at other options.

I'm happy to say that friends have hooked me up for Pittsburgh next year.

I reserved my hotel last week, about 3 miles from PPG Arena. Wasn't many available, so I jumped on one quick. Now to find tickets, which I'm finding difficult if I don't wanna spend a fortune. At least I got free cancellation for hotel if I don't find tickets. Good luck my fellow PSU Fans. See ya all in Pittsburgh, HOPEFULLY!!! We Are.....

Give the thread's title, I'll admit that I first thought of the Alabama song, Forty Hour Week, followed by Sweet Guinevere by Gordon Lightfoot.
