Sentenced 3 to 10 years for his killing the woman and dog. I know that had got this plea deal done earlier, but I still do not understand this leniency.

Well 90% of the sentence was for killing the dog, but it was also one of those annoying chihuahuas.

Yeah I read it could have led to his BAL being thrown out. If they couldn’t say he was legally drunk at trial, really might have sent things sideways.

Bullshit. When you are,driving 156 mph, that alone should conviction you of depraved indifference homicide. DA looking for excuses not to enforce justice.

Especially when you look at it like this guy could possibly be in the league again in 5 years. Even if not, he has all the money from his contract but maybe the contract became invalid once he committed this crime. Nevertheless, he is scott free in 3 years and the family of the person he killed never has their loved one back. Ridiculous injustice.
