Herbie's best QB tOSU will face

Indiana telecast wasn't one of his better days on the job.

Herbie didn't have a lot to say in the 4th quarter of that OU/OSU game as his Buckeyes were getting blown the f out.

2 consecutive curb stompings for duhO$U against top 10 teams and they only dropped to #8 in front of 13 undefeated FBS teams (including Okie State, Wisconsin, LSU, UGa and Louisville). So much for the "eye test"!

You make a good point ... is there any other team in the country (other than Alabama) that could lose 2 out of their last 3 games by a combined score of 61-17 and still be ranked in the top 10??????

OSU has given up, by far, the most passing yards in college football, thus far.

but Fowler was crushing OSU - stadium empty, "blown-out" and other extreme descriptions. Herbie just ate it all. Over and over.

Haha, yeah, Fowler would say something like "Meyer has a lot to figure out after another disappointing showing from the offense" etc. or something like that, and where the color guy normally chimes in....silence.

Sure is. Two actually. ND and Meatchicken.

Not to cut Herbie slack but Lagow was on fire in the 1st half of that game and if he could play like that consistently at 6-5 would be a great pro prospect

Herbie was also silent in the 4th quarter of our game last year as well. But in the first half, he was telling you the names of the 3rd string LS girlfriend's dad, and other interesting tidbits about the invincible Buckeyes.

In their favor, OSU did play the two best QB/WR combos in the country and in the two toughest venues, Bloomington and at home. I was surprised they didn't stay at #2.

I would take Herbie any day over Desmond Howard.

Herbie at least will give some pro-PSU now and then.
I can't remember the last time Desmond Howard said anything remotely positive about PSU. His "Upset Special" last week was Pitt over PSU.
