OK, I’ll summarize where we know so far from many, many sources but then let’s move forward. We lost to MSU because of...

-emotional distress from the OSU loss
-angst from Mark Packer’s comments about us not being great, never mind elite
-a QB fumble on the first drive
-a boneheaded DT penalty on the goal line
-lack of ability to catch a football at times on O
-a slippery field
-bad offensive play calling
-bad defensive play calling
-poor execution of the bad play calling
-lack of depth
-lack of experience
-inability to outrun a 300lb lineman when running back a pick-6
-our conditioning program
-our poor kicking game
-an unprepared prepared special teams
-trending inability to close games on offense
-lack of focus on the 5 yard line
-18 dropped interceptions on the final drive
-a power wielding server at the Corner Room

Now, we have talent, lots of it young. More on the way. We have a coaching staff I absolutely trust to find the solutions. Need to dig a little deeper within themselves when some situations arise in the game. While the chance to win the Big10 and a N.C. have passed for this year, opportunities to prove ourselves and continue to grow are still there.

After OSU we were sad. After MSU we are mad. Channel the embarrassment of this loss into some real whoop ass on the pesky Hoosiers. Take it to them and put the foot on the neck.

We’ll pick up from here. Losses suck but we are still headed in the right direction.
