Between bowl games being "meaningless" to the entire free world - players, coaches, staff members, fans, universities and "nobody cares about Pitt" there are certainly a shit ton of threads that discuss both.
I agree with psualt, if they are so darn meaningless (bowl games) and nobody cares (about Pitt), why post about them? Why open threads about them? Why not stay away from this board until the last bowl is over?
As a HS football coach and college football fan, I can't get enough of the game of football. I have a notepad next to me when watching games to write down plays of interest.
Too many follow the above two items so they have something to bitch about. IMO, that's not a fun life.
Sorry for the rant, but this shit gets old. And, yes, I am fully aware that I didn't need to post a reply if I am tired of this being discussed. It's my first reply aside from discussing a confidence pool I am in.
