Just saw the news report linked below on the Web. An LPGA golfer hit a hole-in-one at the 17th hole of The Club at Carlton Woods (in The Woodlands, near Houston), at the Chevron Championship, which is one of the LPGA major championships. By doing so, the lady golfer (a Souith Korean woman named In Gee Chun) won $1 million for charity. But here's the best part, which I am quoting directly from the news report:
Chevron pledged to donate $1 million for the first hole-in-one on the par 3 17th to support partners in diversity, inclusion and education. The money won Saturday will be donated to the LPGA Foundation and Girls Golf of Greater Houston.
Oh noes! The dreaded DEI words! The silver lining is that you guys can now add Chevron and the LPGA to your already impressive boycott list.
