I am not a frequent poster here, but I do come by a lot and just posted for the first time since the site change, and it showed I only had one post, I don't really care about it as a status thing, but I do know some people ignore those with less than x posts, so I was wondering what happened...

That happened to a lot of people.

Alright, thanks Jim, I didn't follow a lot of the hullabaloo, I still enjoy the board and was just curious and wanted to see if there was a fix. No biggie.

lastfedaykin -- as LionJim indicated, the issue you noticed does seem to have impacted several others. I seem to recall that for 1 individual, Nate Bauer was able to get the message count increased. If you have an estimate of how many posts you had, and care to have the number modified, shoot Nate of BWI a message (his contact info is in the pinned Help thread).

Just me, I guess, but Ranger Dan sounds macho.

Yeah, the macho thing is why I don't like it. My military service was so long ago now and relatively uneventful (safe). After I got out, my buddies used to call me Ranger Dan, like Forrest Gump said "Lieutenant Dan".

You served, which is more than many did. Your service is not diminished by the fact that you were not necessarily in harms way, or came back safely.
