Just a side note....
My wife and I had took in our first hockey game at Pegula this weekend...finally!
First...what a great place to watch a game. Got tix from a friend who has season tickets. First row in the 300 level near the blue line. Great seats. Free popcorn and snacks helped out too!
Second...got to meet Bob White in the concourse between periods. He stopped and chatted with us for 15 minutes. What a great man. Asked us a lot of questions about the facility. We felt like we may have been taking up too much of his time but he said not to worry. Never really talked football that much. Wish I had asked him more about the Fiesta Bowl.
Third...the Roar Zone was great. Love the chants they were doing...even for the dude that cleans the ice shavings in front of the goal.
Lastly...whoever does the music during the game is NOT the same one who does at Beaver. Great timing and tunes. And not once did we have to suffer through a bad "Sweet Caroline".
If you haven't taken in a game there yet you really need to go out and support the team. I sense a budding hockey legacy in the works.
