Listen guys. Did yesterday suck? Yes it did. Could the coaches have done better? Yes they could. Could Hack have thrown better? Yes he could. Could Grant Haley have ended the game for us twice? Once again yes.
But it didn't happen.
Put some things in perspective for a second. Franklin is not Joe Pa. Franklin is not BOB. Franklin is Franklin. We will live and die by his decisions or lack there of. He has a huge decision to make after this season regarding John Donovan.
He has a team loaded with incredible young talent. Teams take time. Hell the 2005 team went through the dark ages before they burst on the scene as a dominant force. Freshmen OL need time to grow and learn. WRs need time to learn routes and adjust to the speed of college DBs.
We are in year 2. Let me say that again. We are in year 2 of the Franklin era. Joe Pa started 5-5 in his first year. Then improved to 8-2-1 in year 2 and then in year 3 went 11-0. We are building. The coaches are learning right along with the players. Next year with a new qb things could be interesting, but 2017 this team should be LOADED!
We live in a world where we can get instant satisfaction and all information is at our finger tips. This team is not a piece of technology thay changes and improves every 3 months. Guys are young. We owe them our respect and time for them to grow and get better.
I'll tell you what, if Franklin doesn't produce a 10 win season by the end of 2017 then we can get hot and bothered. Until then have some perspective.
