Brock Purdy, of Iowa State, was the last person drafted in the 2022 NFL draft warning the title of Mr Irrelevant. But due to injuries, he is now the starting QB at San Francisco and is playing lights out.

First start last week…..2 TDs, 210 yds passing w 25-37 passing. Today, he 14-18 185 yds passing and a 28-0 lead over Tampa Bay……at half time!

I'm sure it will bust eventually but right now he loos like he has Kirk Cousins type ability. He's not Josh Allen or Patrick Mahomes but surrounded by this talent he's going to do very well.

I think that made more sense when there were 15 rounds, not so much in a 7 round draft where even a lot of UDFAs are really good players and have a chance to make a team.
