Dick Jerardi was on Jed's show this morning talking horse racing and the Derby.
The last segment dealt with PSU hoops. Dick's comments:
1. Chambers and staff have done a great job in difficult circumstances. The 2011 drama surrounding PSU impacted the program for a couple years. Contract extension well deserved.
2. Establishing the Philly pipeline has been huge.
3. Excellent 2017-18 season capped by a great run to win the NIT.
4. In the past, whenever PSU had a good season, it wasn't carried over into subsequent seasons. That is not the case with this team. The players coming back form a great nucleus. The players coming in will continue the success.
5. He had a chance to see Miles Dread play in Conshohocken a few weeks ago. He was impressed and thinks PSU fans will really like this kid.
