Just wanted to pass along a new name in Penn State's offseason search for incoming juco/grad transfer kids that can fill a limited role moving forward.

Looking more and more like they're going to fill two and save one of the three open scholarships for a Class of 2018 kid.

Well, this past weekend the program played host to Zach Hunsaker, a freshman at Snow College in Utah. Kid's stat line for the year went as follows:

GAMES PLAYED: 17
MINUTES PER GAME: 29.6
POINTS PER GAME: 20.2
FG PERCENTAGE: .541
3FG PERCENTAGE: .435
FT PERCENTAGE: .787
REBOUNDS PER GAME: 5.1
ASSISTS PER GAME: 3.8
TURNOVERS PER GAME: 2.3
STEALS PER GAME: 1.8
BLOCKS PER GAME: 0.2

Now, obviously we're talking about a different skill level in the juco ranks, but that's a 3-point percentage that could help Penn State. He was a multiple-time player of the week winner - and was the player of the year - in his conference this season on a pretty good Snow team that won it's league.

I'm learning more, but my understanding is his visit went well and he is in play as a possibility to fill one of those open scholarships.
