Really a good article. Big time sports in Colleges is out of control. There are fixes BUT who would have the nerve to make real changes? I think the idiot NCAA head made a statement when he was at LSU that football was LSU.
Actually, I think the bigger "name" Universities like Michigan and OSU and even PSU have separated their sports programs from the "educational purpose" of a University. Taking the high road would be what the Ivy League did. All that said, something will happen to make this situation worse and worse. GREED rules all
Athletic Scholarship ??? Should there be such a thing at all? I marvel watching the Kentucky college "students" cheering for "their" BB team. When in fact they are semi-pros and ONLY wear a Kentucky Uniform !!!
