Thought this was a real topic, possibly expanding to best football player college and pro. First names that come up, OJ and Hershell. Then expand the topic, best college and pro WR's, OL's DE', DL's, LB's, DB's. PSUERS that might apply, Dave Robinson and Lavar. Forget QB's really don't recall Brady in College.
Classic case of trying to make a "Track Guy" into a football player. Could be the only time in history it worked to perfection.
Then you should have started with something along those lines instead of a movie character.

RB: Barry Sanders
OL: Orlando Pace

TE: Keith Jackson - until the end of this year....then Ty Warren.
