As a long time fan, I have multiple nightmare memories of what can happen when IA comes to Happy Valley, mainly on the backs of their usually strong D. Last year they were amazing in how they could force turnovers and score points - nearly outscoring thei rown O for the year.
So far, from afar, it doesnt look like their D this year is anywhere as stong as 2022. But I wont sell them short of playing lights out against our young QB.
Did DA learn enough from the IL game to apply this Sat? Can he improve his completion %age or will he again experience a learning curve?
Im sure IA would love to get a couple of picks early to disrupt DA's confidence.
OTOH, is the PSU D of last week ready to do a repeat performance? How sweet that would be.
