In this year’s tournament, there was reportedly only 1 all American who grew up in Iowa.
That really surprises me.
Can you name him?

Good question. With a little effort, I can get 2010 through 2017. I do not have any other years, but to give an idea for two random years;

2010 = 43.75%
2015 = 38.74%

With limited data, they are in the realm of statistically similar. I'd need a few data points from the 80's or 90's to show any differences.
