How much better is the O-Line now versus 2-3 years ago?

Definitely not as much as most of us here were expecting when the recruits such as McGovern, Fries, Menet,.... were recruited into the program.....

I wish Munchak would look at his bank account and realize he has enough $, and then realize making NFL linemen out of PSU recruits would be more fun than coaching millionaires....

Better players same crappy performance. Second most underperforming coach at PSU.

what do you think?
No much at all. Overall, the line play is weak and soft, and you can't blame that on the RPO. How many plays do you actually see a push?? A defender on his $ss. This aspect of the game has to be the biggest disappointment coming out of this year. I really have a hard time believing the speculation that several of the OL might go pro. Geez.

Definitely better than three years ago. No better than two years ago.

O-lines across the B1G were not particularly good this year. That used to a league strength. Work is needed.

I’m not sure how much it is the O line and how much it is related to execution and inherent flaws in the design of the RPO offense.
It isn’t the RPO offense that’s the problem. Our blocking schemes are the problem

I'm curious how much on offense gets retooled to take advantage of new talent.
The one aspect of the offense that improved was the blocking and receiving of the tight ends, Tyler Bowen has done a great job.
It's possible to bunch that philosophy to the rest of the line, our next three qb's are not Trace, and the staff knows that, just like after Hack left, changes were made.
