Many Lefties here said even though part of Cohen's crimes were Mickey Mouse (lying on a loan) that the law was the law. Comey and Yates twice signed off on a fraudulent Fisa Application saying that Carter Page was a foreign agent when he clearly wasn't. This fake application was used to spy on the Trump campaign and Presidency. Comey and Yates appear to be clearly guilty of conspiring to file a fraudulent Fisa Application and of conspiring against the US. The crimes of Comey and Yates threaten the fundamentals of American democracy. I would say that they deserve to spend 4 times the jail time of Cohen or 12 years.
By way of background, Carter Page was accused of colluding with people he never met and loudly proclaimed his complete innocence a month before the Fisa Application was filed. Notwithstanding his clear public statements and the fact that the Steele dossier was tainted the clear bias of Steele, the FBI went ahead and made the completely innocent Page roadkill (he lost his business) and used the fraudulent Application to spy on Trump.
