Kyle Snyder and Bo Nickal in a wrestling match... who wins and why? The last time I saw Kyle Snyder wrestle, he wasn't able to major Nick Nevills in the match of the century. I thought the roof was coming down at Rec Hall that glorious night. If Kyle would have wrestled Bo Nickal, who would have won that battle of TITANS???

Last time I saw Nickal, he couldn’t score a point on a 79kg guy that’s never made a world team. Don’t see him doing much to a 97kg world and Olympic champ. I’d watch, but not getting big bucks from me.
Taylor vs Snyder on the other hand. Name your price.

As I recall, Snyder needed a tech fall in his match with Nick. I think he would have easily had a major had that been the goal. Instead he went for a big move that gave points to Nick.

I believe Snyder only needed a major, not a TF. A major would have tied the match at 19-19, and Ohio State would have won on total match points scored.

Nick had a few solid takedowns. Snyder went for a throw and took himself to his back.

Pretty sure we had ‘em on criteria and he needed 5 or 6.

Didn't Bo announce he was going 86? I think that says a lot about how this match goes considering he feels he has a better chance at DT than Snyder/Cox.

Chickenman has it right. Snyder needed either a TF for tOSU to win outright or a major by 13+ points for tOSU to win the tie breaker. Snyder went IMHO for to much to early and didn't quite get there. In any case it was a GREAT dual with MANY highlights including Carson Kuhn throwing Tomasello into the scoring table.
