I live just a few miles from the Verizon Center in DC, so I'm interested in attending the tournament, particularly given the possibility that PSU could win a couple games. I checked prices through the arena ticket office. Cheapest ticket is $321. No thanks!

Great move to have it in DC. Is that the price for the whole tournament? Seems reasonable, go for it.

I would be interested in attending, but not for that price. I hope that is at least for all games each day... if they sell out though, then I guess that they are priced appropriately.

That's the full tourney ticket price. Most fans aren't interested in seeing every game, that's a little much. Single day tickets are usually broken into 2 sessions, after the first day when the bottom 4 teams face off. Each session is two games.
So if PSU is playing in the first session or the 2nd, then your ticket would entitle you to one other game. In other words your ticket would be good for just two of the day's 4 games.

I'm not sure of the cost for one of these sessions, but from past experience I would guess about $25. The good news is that many great seats are usually available for any one game, because most fans are only there to see their team. Once their game is over, many leave the arena (or come later in the session just to see their team). So buy the cheapest ticket and sit in one of the better seats. That's the way to do it.

Thanks for the tips. Might consider going now.
