today is the women's basketball semi-final. Sunday is the women's final. Monday, the eclipse begins at 1:59 pm and is full at 3:13 pm. Full ends at 3:17 with partial abating at 4:29. They are expecting north of 200,000 people with hotel rooms going for 2 to 3 times normal. Guardians home opener, sold out, is first pitch at 5:10 pm.

And believe it or not the path of the eclipse is also through Cincinnati and Columbus. Amazing coincidence.

Pretty big weekend in Phoenix too! Final Four. Diamondbacks vs Yankees series ended Wednesday.. Suns vs T-Wolves on Thursday then vs Pelicans tomorrow. Coyotes at home beat the Vegas yesterday. Phoenix Rising MLS won last night.

Add in free concerts for The Jonas Brothers, Mumford and Sons, Black Keys, Fitz and the Tantrums, and others.

This last weekend has to go down as one of the best in CLE history.

• The weather was fantastic for early April.
• The women's final four blew away all records for TV viewing for games played Friday and Sunday.
• The skies were sunny and clear all weekend including Monday's eclipse.
• There was a rare solar fair available to be seen during totality.
• The Guardians home opener was sold out and started just after the eclipse concluded. They won 4-0 on a four-hitter and their best hitter hit a 2-run home to put it away (Jose Ramirez).
